The sixth annual Greenway Sojourn began Saturday, June 23, 2007 in Washington, DC where the cyclists started on their way along the C & O Canal towpath. Their 335 mile journey ended up in Pittsburgh. Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Rails to Trails Conservancy, the group chose this route to celebrate the opening of the Great Allegheny Passage, which runs from Cumberland, Maryland to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We hope you'll enjoy our photos of two stops at Little Orleans and Cumberland, MD...View photos on this page.
